Charters Available for 3-5 Hours Depending on Availability

  • Up to 10 Guests
  • Choose Your Departure Time: 9AM or 12PM (flexible depending on availability).
  • Captain and Fuel Fee: Included (paid on the day of departure as per USCG law).
  • Departure/Return Location: Diversey Harbor

On-Board Amenities:

  • 2 Large Coolers – BYOB.
  • 6ft x 18ft Lily Pad for your enjoyment. 
  • Bluetooth connection to play your favorite music.
  • Fully enclosed bathroom for your convenience.

Pricing and Details:

  • $400/HR on Weekends + Fridays 
  • $250/HR on Weekdays (Monday-Thursday)
  • A deposit is required at booking, with the remaining balance paid directly to the captain on the day of your charter.

River Cruises

Set sail on the Chicago River for an unforgettable private cruise! Whether celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a day out, our river cruises are designed to make your Chicago adventure truly memorable.

It’s important to note that traveling through the Chicago Locks to access the river can take up to an hour each way, particularly on high-traffic days during the weekends. This transit time can significantly impact your charter duration. To ensure you have enough time to enjoy your river cruise, please let both the Main Event Charters team and your captain know in advance if you plan to include the Chicago River in your itinerary.

We offer the unique opportunity to dock at restaurants and bars along the Chicago River during your charter! Prior reservations must be made directly with the establishments, and any docking fees are the responsibility of the charter guests.

  1. Select your preferred Saturday, and we will confirm availability by the end of the business day—or the next business day if your request is after hours. Once availability is confirmed, you’ll secure your reservation by paying the deposit.
  2. Deposit is 25% of the charter cost.
  3. After booking, you’ll receive a detailed email with all the information you need, including what to bring, parking details, and more.
